Many websites are specialized in listing web host companies with reviews and ratings. We listed Getphphost.com on several such websites to increase its visibility. Here follows our review:
Getphphost.com offers hosting that is optimized for a number of 1-click Zacky install open source programs as: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Grav, Concrete5, elgg., Mediawiki, moodle, Opencart, phpBB, prestashop, simplemachines, suiteCRM, zen cart, TYPO3, zenphoto, oscommerce, and Vtiger, to classify under CRMs(3), e-commerce(4), Forums(2), Foto galleries(1), Education(1), Portals/CMS(5), Social networking(1), Weblogs(1), Website builder(1), Wikis(1). For the installation of other scripts on this hosting it is on your own risk whether they will work or not. You are free to use the free service for testing purposes.
Getphphost.com provides shared hosting, semi-dedicated hosting and vps or a server. Also it offers SSL certificates for proper security and that makes your site run with https://. SSL certificates are installed automatically the day after you purchased it. Shared hosting includes a free hosting plan. All paid plans offer a free .com, org, biz, us-domain. With personal hosting this domain is free for one year, for all higher plans it is free for the duration you have a paid account.
I started my membership on getphphost with a WordPress installation on a free account. As I wanted to add more domains I upgraded first to personal and later to business hosting. On the latter one of my domains is free for the duration of my business account. The limit of a business account is that you can only have 250.000 inodes (1 inode per file) stored in one business account. I ran several 1-click zacky install programs without problems as: WordPress, WordPress multisite, SuiteCRM, Opencart, Grav, Concrete5, moodle, Joomla.
Support can be asked for by submitting a trouble ticket which is mostly answered within one hour. They can help you out all problems or give you advice. The only point of discussion is the speed. For some templates of e.g. Opencart with a forced preloader you can better watch out for quicker loading hosting. However, this can be different for other server locations.
